Hello from Mr. Pike! Mr. D. R. Pike has his Masters Degree in the Science of Teaching from the University of Dayton. He has taught in BV Schools for 18 years. He is the owner and operator of Pike's School of Martial Art located at 305 S. Hamilton St. in Old Town Saginaw. He holds the Rank of Rokudan (6th degree black belt) and the title of Renshi in the art of karate-do. He is also a black sash in tai chi chuan. He has practiced the martial arts for 28 years. Mr. Pike is also father of 2 beautiful daughters Cheyenne and Shawnee. |

Reading is the basis of all learning. Even in story telling, the audience must "read into the details" for the meaning of the story. Reading in Mr. Pike's Class is the springboard of all lessons taught. The students do not have to be skilled readers when they arrive to this class, but when they leave they will be. |
